Out of fear of losing soldier husband, woman commits suicide

In a shocking incident in Rajkot, a woman committed suicide by hanging herself over the fear of losing her soldier husband. The incident took place on Saturday in Khambhaliya, Gujarat.

The deceased was the wife of an Indian army jawan. The husband was posted Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir and had come home on leave. The husband even had a close call with an avalanche and the recent Pulwama terror attack instilled fear in the woman. Out of fear of losing her husband, she hung herself to death.

The couple were married for two years. the woman had many times tried to convince her husband to not return to his job. However, the husband insisted on joining duty.
