"Today You're Dead": BJP Man Found Dead, Chilling Note On Shirt

A young BJP worker named Trilochan Mahato (20) was found hanging from a tree in West Bengal's Purulia on Wednesday morning, in what the party alleged was a political murder linked to the violent civic polls in the state earlier this month.
 

What has made the purported suicide even more chilling is the fact that a note scrawled on the back and front of the victim’s white T-Shirt read, "This is for doing BJP politics from age 18. Been trying to kill you since the vote. Failed. Today you are dead."
