CCTV camera which was installed near the ticketing counter of the station recorded the shocking incident. In the video, the accused is seen beating and kicking Shankar Manohar Awhad.

According to The Hindustan Times report, the incident occurred on Friday afternoon when Abdul, who lives at the Kurla railway quarters, had come to drop his wife at the station. Vilas Shinde, senior police inspector, said "He dropped his wife off and was parking his bike near the station premises when the MSF jawan, Shankar Avhad, 40, stopped him. Abdul told him that he was a railway employee and had parked the bike in the area in the past as well.”

The two immediately got into an argument which soon escalated. “Abdul then called his brother and some friends to the railway station. We are in the process of identifying the other accused involved. The two arrested persons were released on bail," Shinde added.

After looking at this scene, some passengers, including a woman police officer, are also seen attempting to rescue Avhad.

The railway police intervened and a case has been registered in this matter. Police have arrested two persons, Abdul Ansari, 40, a points man with the railways, and his younger brother Irfan Ansari, 32, an advocate.
