Former cricket player Vinod Kambli's wife has been accused of assaulting playback singer Ankit Tiwari's father at a mall on Sunday in Mumbai. 59-year-old Raj Kumar Tiwari has registered a complaint against Kambli and his wife, Andrea Hewitt.
From the CCTV footage, a man in white t-shirt accompanied with a young girl, reportedly his granddaughter, can be seen walking past Kambli's wife, where his hand allegedly brushed hers. The woman immediately hits his head and confronts him. Tiwari has alleged that Hewitt attacked him with her sandals.
In response, Kambli tweeted tagging the Mumbai Police, "Some miscreants tried to touch my wife inappropriately, When questioned, brought his sons n tried to come to blows. Sadly, women safety on question once again(sic)"
