Woman dragged by hair on train, video goes viral

A man was arrested on Friday in Mumbai for dragging a woman by the hair and allegedly strangling her on a train the previous night. The train was heading to Thane from Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. The accused, Rafiq Khan knew the victim and allegedly owed her money due to which they had an argument.

A video of the incident was taken by one of the commuters. In the video, the man can be seen leaping at the woman and trying to strangle her. He was taken into custody immediately after deboarding the train.
