Video of elephant running amok at Sabarimala temple goes viral

A video of an elephant carrying a priest atop running amok at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala is going viral on social media. According to reports, the elephant started to run amok amidst chants from devotees on Friday. A report by an NDTV says, at least 12 people including the 36-year-old priest atop, were injured in the incident. The mahout of the elephant tried to bring the elephant under control in vain, but he suffered a fracture to his leg, reports added.
