He was found hanging at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra on Sunday. The news about the death of this young and versatile actor comes shortly after two of Bollywood's acclaimed stars, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor passed away.
Further investigation will reveal the cause behind the actor’s death. However, as per media reports, the actor was suffering from depression and was also undergoing medication for the same. India Today reported that the actor was friendly towards the guards in his residence. One of the guards revealed that “his mood has been off” over the past few months.
The actor made debut in the movie Kai Po Che. He especially won thousands of hearts and broke all records with his performance in M S Dhoni’s biopic, M S Dhoni: The Untold Story. Sushant Singh Rajput, started his early days as a theatre actor and is known for his command over the craft and top-notch method acting abilities.
He paid tribute to his mother through a heartfelt poem in his last ever Instagram Post. It was extremely saddening for everyone to look back at the actor’s social media handle and digest the fact that Sushant Singh Rajput is no more.
