A recent video of a vendor emerging from a train toilet with tea and coffee cans went viral on social media. The video suggested that the coffee and tea were mixed inside the toilet. Even though the incident took place in December last year on a Chennai Central to Hyderabad Charminar Express, the incident came to light only after the video went viral on social media recently.
According to reports, a fine of Rs 1 lakh has been imposed on the vendor. M Umashankar Kumar, a senior railways official said, "A strict vigil was continuously being kept at various levels to ensure that no such incidents are repeated in the SCR Zone."
