With BJP failing to prove its majority in the assembly after B S Yeddyurappa was sworn in as the Chief Minister three days ago, and with the latter having resigned from the post even before taking the floor test in the Assembly session on Saturday, Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala reportedly invited H D Kumaraswamy to form the government.
Colliding with Congress, the former Chief Minister and JD-S State President H D Kumaraswamy was invited to form the next government in the State. The JD(S) leader is set to become the Chief Minister for the second time on May 23.
