A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car by two men who also threw her three-year-old child from the vehicle on Monday evening on the Delhi-Dehradun national highway, reports NDTV.
The men had reportedly lured the woman on the pretext of an interview and gave her an alcoholic drink mixed with sedatives. The accused, who are currently absconding, reportedly dropped the survivor from the car in Chapar area on the highway in the district (Muzaffarnagar-UP/National Capital Region).
The child was rushed to a hospital by the villagers and is out of danger. The woman has been sent for a medical examination while an FIR has been filed and cops are on the prowl to nab the accused.
