Shocking - Six-year-old raped, body dumped inside bathroom

In a shocking incident, a six-year-old girl's semi-naked body was found dumped inside a primary school bathroom in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district on Saturday.

According to initial post-mortem reports, the girl was raped and dumped inside the bathroom. A probe is currently on to nab those responsible. Reportedly, a few youths from the area have been detained for a interrogation. The police have also deployed the dog squad to trace the culprits.

The victim had come to her grandparents to a relatives' house three days ago to attend a ceremony. However, she went missing on Thursday. Her body was found on Saturday after the school reopened following Muharram.
