This state grants 15-day paternity leave for govt employees

In a first, the Haryana government has made a revolutionary move by granting 15-day paternity leave for government employees. 

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar tweeted, “Haryana government will provide 15 days paternity leave to all Male Government Employees to take care of their newborn child.”

While many states are familiar with maternity leave, paternity leave has always been viewed with disdain and Haryana government's decision on the same could set a precedent.
