MBBS Student Found Dead With hands and legs Tied Up
Home > News Shots > India newsA 20-year-old MBBS student body was found with his hands and legs tied up in Telangana on Saturday (January 19). Thummanapalli Vamshi was the 3rd year MBBS student in a private medical college located in Khamam.
According to the reports Vamsi had returned to his college on Friday and spoke to his family over the phone for the last time. When Vamsi's family tried to contact him later, he was not reachable.
A few hours later, his body was discovered in an agricultural well in Kaniparthy in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. The police revealed that his hands and legs were tied with a rope.
Reportedly the local people said Vamsi was dropped in Parkal bus stand on Friday. Vamsi's parents also said that he called them and confirmed reaching the college. Meanwhile, the police officers recovered Vamsi's body and sent it to postmortem. Further investigations will be based on the autopsy report, CCTV footage and call history of Vamsi.
The Chityal police have registered a case of 'Suspicious death' and are probing the turn of events that may lead to the death of Vamsi.
