Young Techie Commits Suicide After Parents Ask to Wait for Marriage

According to police, the 24-year-old victim, P Nihkil Goud, lived at Ramanthapur with his parents and worked at a software firm in Uppal.
Two years ago, his elder sister had gotten married. Since then, he kept asking his parents to get him hitched too. However, his parents asked him to wait saying that he was too young to be married. Media reports say that he insisted that his parents look for a girl for him to marry.
On Monday, when his parents had gone out, Nikhil is said to have taken the extreme step. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, which declared him brought dead.
The Uppal police registered a case. Initial inquiries have revealed that he was upset over the delay in marriage. “We are also probing into other angles. Though we did not find any suicide note, his mobile is sent for forensic analysis,” the police said.
