Shocking: Giant wheel crashes; 10-year-old killed

According to reports, a 10-year-old girl died instantly on Sunday after a giant merry-go-round wheel crashed at Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Three children and three adults were also seriously injured in the accident. Reportedly, the operator who was responsible for the ride was drunk.

After a bolt from one of the trolley cars of the giant wheel gave away, the giant wheel crashed and it came down from a height with children.

The diseased had gone to the local fun fair popularly called an exhibition. It was organised at a junior college ground in Anantapur. A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
