Shiv Sena leader shot dead

Shiv Sena leader Sachin Sawant was shot by two unidentified assailants on Sunday night at 8 pm in Mumbai. Allegedly, the politician was travelling in his car, when two assailants on a motorbike stopped nearby and fired four shots at him. Sawant was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Reportedly, Sawant was a member of Shiv Sena for nearly twenty years. According to other Shiv Sena members, the reason for the murder is either a property dispute or a financial fallout.

Currently, the police are investigating the matter.
