Picnic turns deadly after 7-year-old drowns in pool

A picnic turned deadly for a family from Mumbai on Saturday who spent their day at the beach in Arnala, after their seven-year-old daughter, Trapti Patil ended up drowning in a swimming pool.

The family had gone to the beach and tried entering a nearby resort to clean themselves up. While the rest of the members were busy taking a bath, Trapti decided to explore the resort. Realising that Trapti was missing, her family members tried searching for her.

Trapti was found drowned inside a swimming pool. Reportedly, she tried cleaning herself inside the pool but ended up drowning. She was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead.
