Earlier today, Mumbai police's Twitter handle released a video in which someone is seen falling off a multistorey building. "Attempt for the most daring selfie? Or just another irresponsible adventure? Whatever this was for, it clearly wasn’t worth the risk! #SafetyFirst" read the caption.
Since shared, the video has garnered over 43k views and people are really shocked to see the video. No information has been provided by Mumbai police on where this was filmed. The video has been shared to insist that safety is important.
However, according to India TV's fact check team, Google's reverse image search revealed that the video was uploaded on April 24, on a website in China.
It is always better to be safe than sorry. While a selfie may look cute, being alive and safe to look at the selfie and smile will look much better.
