Just three days after a BJP workers body was found hanging from a tree, another man was found dead in West Bengal. Dulal Kumar, 30, was found hanging from a high tension electric tower on Saturday morning. He was confirmed by the BJP as a full-time party worker.
The victim was reportedly missing since Friday night. Dulal's family alleges that he was killed by members of the Trinamool Congress. Reacting to the incident, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered for a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the death.
Similar to this incident, on Wednesday a 20-year-old BJP worker was found hanging from a tree near his house with the message, "This is for doing BJP politics from age 18. Been trying to kill you since the vote. Failed. Today you are dead," written nearby.
