SC dismisses petitions seeking probe into the death of Judge Loya

The Supreme Court on Thursday reportedly dismissed the PILs seeking an independent probe into the death of CBI judge BH Loya. The judge passed away when he was involved in the finding of the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case in 2014 in which BJP president Amit Shah was involved.

Calling the petition ‘frivolous’, the apex court said it was clear that the judge died a natural death and there was 'no doubt' about it.
