Saradha Chit Fund case: ED issues summons to Nalini Chidambaram

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned former Union Minister P. Chidambaram's wife Nalini Chidambaram in a multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam on Monday. The senior lawyer has been asked to appear before ED’s Kolkata-based office on May 7 to record her statement in connection with the case, which entails the Saradha group running ponzi schemes to allegedly dupe investors.
