Bollywood star Salman Khan convicted

According to reports, the Bollywood star Salman Khan was convicted by a Jodhpur Court in the 1998 blackbuck case, while other actors — Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari — were acquitted.

The actor was accused of killing two blackbucks on October 2, 1998 during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The conviction is under Section 51 which carries a maximum of six years and a minimum of one year.
