Shocking - Husband kept wife hungry to make her lose weight

A 34-year-old woman from Pune recently approached the police and filed a complaint against her brutal husband. The woman alleged that she was starved to near death by her husband so as to make her lose weight.

The two got married in 2006. Reportedly, within six months of marriage, the two often got in quarrels. During this period, the woman gained a little weight. Unhappy with her weight gain, the husband starved her to near death so that she could lose a few kilos

The husband reportedly starved her for several days. He also defamed her family. These incidents happened between 2006 and 2016. One day, the husband reportedly left the house all of a sudden. He even sent her a divorce notice despite her efforts to patch up.

The two have two children, who are currently taken care of by the wife. After she lost her job last month, taking care of her children has become even more difficult. Unable to carry on, the woman filed a complaint with the police.
