Father refuses to give pocket money; Child hangs self in anger

In a shocking incident in Pune, a 12-year-old boy hanged himself to death after a petty argument with his father. The incident reportedly took place Kasarwadi area of Bhosari.

The deceased and his father used to live in a rental room after his mother died a few years ago. The father worked at a company during the daytime. The boy reportedly left school post his mother's death and used to play all day long.

The father used to give the boy pocket money. The boy recently demanded more money but the father refused. Enraged over this, the boy hanged himself when the father went out for work. The police were informed and an investigation is on way.
