Petrol and Diesel Prices Hiked Across All Cities! Fuel Prices Reach Two-Year High

This big hike of 30 paise per litre on petrol 26 paise per litre on diesel has made the fuel prices reach two-year high. With the latest hike, petrol price in Delhi now stands at Rs. 83.71 per litre while diesel prices have also been revised to Rs. 73.87 per litre.
According to Hindustan Times report, fuel prices across the country has witnessed a steady revision in the last 16 days due to firming international oil prices.
Meanwhile, the current prices of petrol and diesel are the highest the capital city - Delhi has seen since September of 2018.
Below are the price for fuel in different cities- in Delhi, petrol prices have gone up by Rs. 2.37 per litre while diesel rates have been upped by Rs. 3.12 per litre in the last 16 days. While in Mumbai, petrol will cost Rs. 90.34 per litre and diesel will cost Rs. 80.51 per litre.
However in Kolkata, petrol price has gone up to Rs. 85.19 per litre and the price of diesel has increased to Rs. 77.44 per litre. Coming to Chennai, petrol and diesel will now cost Rs. 86.51 per litre and Rs. 79.21 per litre.
The public sector oil marketing companies like Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) have revised the rates of petrol and diesel based on benchmark international oil price and foreign exchange rate, Hindustan Times further reported.
