The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased on Friday. State-run oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revised the fuel prices for the second straight day.
The IOC put out the Friday’s fuel prices in its website. In Chennai, petrol is sold at Rs 79.67 per litre. In Delhi and Mumbai, petrol is now selling at Rs 76.76 and Rs 84.14 per litre respectively. Petrol costs Rs 79.42 per litre in Kolkata.
The diesel price in Chennai has been revised to Rs 72.24 per litre, while it is sold at Rs 68.43 per litre in Delhi. Diesel is available for Rs 72.61 and Rs 70.98 per litre in Mumbai and Kolkata respectively.
