Packers and movers escape with techie's belongings worth Rs 12 lakh
Home > India newsAccording to reports, a 31-year-old IT professional was robbed of his belongings by the packer and movers while relocating from Pune to Noida.
The techie found the packers and movers on the internet who claimed to do the service for Rs 61,000. However, after waiting for more than 2 weeks for his belongings, the techie went to the police to file a complaint. Reportedly, the techie had all his belongings, including furniture, electronics, certificates and documents.
The techie alleged that the truck driver had threatened to destroy his belongings as his employers had not paid him. The driver even demanded a further Rs 30,000 from the techie. However, during the investigation it was found that the driver was the owner of his firm and he had been confusing the techie.
The victim finally got back his belongings.
