Home > News Shots > India newsHumanity has shown its true face in the marriage ceremony of the 25-year old woman named Sheenath in Bakar Kanj, Kanpur. Sheenath got married on December 21 (Saturday) at Bakar Kanj amidst the riots for Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
According to Sheenath's family tradition, there will be a procession which will be carried out after the marriage. Unfortunately, the family members feared to carry out the procession due to the strong CAA riots that were happening in the Kakar Kanj area.
Moreover, there was a death reported two hours ago during the marriage. Therefore they sought help to Vimal Sabaadiya the neighbour of Sheenath.
Vimal knew Sheenath since she was 12-year-old and had a brotherly bonding with her. Therefore Vimal called two of his friends Somnath Tiwari and Neeraj Tiwari who called 50 other friends.
Finally, the marriage procession held while Vimal and his friends formed a chain and guarded Sheenath's family for 1 Km. The incident was seen as a heartwarming gesture of humanity extending beyond blood relations.
