Patient's eye nibbled by mouse, hospital denies charge

The Deccan Chronicle reports that the father of a comatose patient has claimed that rats nibbled his son's right eye. However, the hospital authorities dismissed the claim saying it was a malicious attempt to ruin its reputation. The incident is reported to have happened at Mumbai's civic-run Bal Thackeray Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari on April 23.
