Home > India newsIn a shocking incident in Mumbai, a man along with his wife and son were arrested for trying to show his dead mother as alive on papers so as to bag her properties.
Sunil Gupta's mother Kamlesh Rani passed away in 2011. Following her demise, Gupta tried to forge a fake certificate saying that she is alive and tried to transfer her properties worth Rs 285 crore, including a candle manufacturing company in his name. However, Sunil's elder brother moved the court stating that his brother had forged documents.
Vijay even alleged that Sunil tried to threaten him to stay quiet by using men to beat him up. Soon later, the Noida police gathered evidence and arrested Sunil and his family. They were produced before the court and sent to jail.
