In a shocking incident of arrogance and apathy displayed in Mumbai, a 36-year-old tailor lost his life after attacked by four people, that included three minors, for delaying payment of a taxi he was travelling in at Chembur on Tuesday night. It is learnt that the victim Surendra Singh was patiently counting the change in the taxi, which he was to disembark so that the quartet could get in. Angered by this delay, the quartet started thrashing him, thereby making him lose his life in the ugly brawl.
A murder case was filed at the Chembur police station. Krishna, one of the accused, has been sent to police custody till May 14 while the other three minors who are co-accused have been sent to a shelter home.
