7 years after Journalist’s murder, gangster Chota Rajan convicted

According to reports, a Mumbai Court on Wednesday convicted gangster Chota Rajan, seven years after the shocking murder of veteran Mumbai journalist Jyotirmoy Dey. Former journalist Jigna Vora, who was also accused of instigating Chhota Rajan for the murder, has reportedly been acquitted.

Chota Rajan has reportedly hired a contractor for Rs 5 lakh to execute the murder of the journalist, who was about to publish his book titled “Chindi - Rags to Riches” which was about 20 gangsters.
