14-yr-old girl jumps off eighth floor, onlookers record video

Deccan Chronicle reports that a 14-year-old girl going by the name Harshika Dhirendra Mayavashi allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the eighth floor of a building in Kandivali, a western suburb in Mumbai on Thursday.
 

While some captured video of the incident which has since then gone viral on social media, some residents noticed her when the girl was standing on the parapet wall of the eighth floor and tried to stop her.

People immediately took her to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
