Watch Video: Mother Chains Drug-Addict Daughter To Bed; Girl Blames it On 'Rich Friends'

Addiction to anything is a serious issue which should be avoided; now-a-days young men and women easily get addicted to drugs in Punjab.

In a shocking case from Chandigarh, a 20-year-old girl was caught on camera being chained to a bed and half-covered with blanket. The girl's mother claimed, by chaining her daughter was the only solution for keeping her away from drugs.

As per Times Now report, the girl, used to work at a salon in Chandigarh and fell in the trap of drugs and could never recover. The girl further stated that she had rich friends in the city and after trying the drugs she got addicted to them and could not find a way to come out of it.

By looking at her daughter's condition, the mother has tried everything to make her come out of it but nothing worked. The girl was also sent to de-addiction centre for 7-8 times, but from there she fled twice. Also, the girl looks for opportunities to run from the house to grab a dosage of drugs, Times Now further reported.

On seeing her condition, Member of Parliament from  Amritsar, G S Ajula also visited the victim at her residence.

Reportedly, the mother further added that drugs are still being sold openly and young boys and girls are injecting themselves with heroin.
