The mortal remains of 38 Indians who lost their lives in Iraq’s Mosul in 2014 in a terror outfit Islamic State, will be reaching India on Monday. Reportedly, out of the total 39 Indians, one man’s mortal remains will not be brought as his case was still pending.
Ministry of State for External Affairs VK Singh left for Mosul on Sunday to receive the remains. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on March 20 informed in the Parliament that the 39 Indians who went missing in Iraq were killed.
