What helped BJP win the majority was clean swipe in states. In the national capital New Delhi, BJP crushed AAP and Congress to win all the 7 constituencies. In Himachal Pradesh BJP leads in all the 4 constituencies.
In Gujarat, BJP got a landslide victory in all 26 constituencies. The same goes for Rajasthan with 25 constituencies and Uttarkhand with 5 constituencies. BJP is leading in both the constituencies in Tripura and in Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading in 28 out of 29.
In Uttar Pradesh, a state with the maximum number of constituencies in India, BJP is leading in 61 out of the 80. In Maharashtra, of 48, BJP is leading in 41. Of the 42 seats in West Bengal, BJP leads in 17.
In Bihar, of 40, BJP leads in 38. Even in Assam, of the 14 seats, BJP leads in 9. Andaman is also under Modi wave. Though BJP didn't fare well in South, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka have given Modi majority. And the same is with Jarhkhand.
