PM Narendra Modi arrived in Stockholm, Sweden Monday night and was received by the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven. This is India's first bilateral visit to the Nordic country after 30 years. Modi will be staying there for a five-day tour and will also be visiting the UK.
Addressing a press conference on the first day of his visit, Modi said, "This is my first visit to Sweden and a visit by an Indian PM after a gap of nearly 30 years." He also reportedly said that Sweden has been a strong contributor in India's Make in India campaign.
