A group of Maharashtra Navnirma Sena (MNS) members attacked a PVR theatre manager in Pune on Friday for selling overpriced food items. A case has been filed against the workers of MNS after the theatre owners complained at the police station.

The group reportedly barged inside the theatre and protested against the sale of overpriced food items. Three of them attacked the theatre manager. A video was taken during the assault and has been making its rounds in social media.

The group leader, Kishor Shinde stated that they had gone to many multiplexes to ask the management to reduce the food rate. However, when they reached PVR, the manager allegedly said, "only those who can afford to pay for them should come to the theatre.” His answer enraged the group, following which they hit him.
