This Telugu Film Backup Dancer Is Struggling To Raise Funds To Save His 2-Yr-Old Daughter From A Rare Cancer
Home > India newsCancer is one of the major causes of death all over the world. Whenever we hear about people suffering from cancer, it's heartbreaking. That is especially true in the case of children. To think about the child's suffering and the emotional struggle parents go through is heart-wrenching.
For a family facing financial restraints, things might be even more complicated. The treatment can take up to several lakhs, and for this Telugu film backup dancer, every day is a struggle.
Bujjewar and his wife Sandhya are trying to raise money for their two-year-old daughter who has been diagnosed with cancer. The family is trying to raise money through Milaap, a crowdfunding platform.
Their two-year-old daughter Nishta has been diagnosed with abdominal nueroblastoma, a rare form of cancer which started in her liver and is now gradually spreading to other parts of her body. In order to survive, Nishta needs a bone-marrow transplant.
What initially started as stomach swelling, has turned to a point when the girl couldn't get up from the bed. "I have lost count of the number of diagnostic centers I have been to in the hope that someone would tell me that my daughter doesn't have cancer. But it never happened," Bujjewar told Milaap.
Bujjewar is still struggling to build his career as a backup dancer in Telugu films. He also works as a small-time choreographer for family functions. He has no fixed source of income. He has also not been able to find work for the past 6 months, as he spends most of his time at the hospital.
