Married man asks Sex Worker to quit her Work and Marry him; Slits her Throat!
Home > News Shots > India newsA 32-year-old man from New Delhi was arrested for brutally murdering a sex worker after she rejected his marriage proposal.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Mohammad Ayub, was married and has three children. He had developed an interest for Lata alias Salma whom he met in a brothel and demanded her quitting job and marrying him. Despite the victim rejecting his proposal, Ayub kept pursuing her and on August 20 he took her to Bawana Canal for an evening walk where he murdered her by slitting her throat with a butcher’s knife. He also chopped her body into five pieces before throwing into the canal.
Later, the police recovered the body and a case was registered against him at Kailashnath Katju Marg police station under Sections 304 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
Upon secret information, the special cell of Delhi police nabbed Ayub from Turkman Gate area on Friday. They also recovered the vehicle used by him to take the victim to the murder spot.
