Man murders Live-in Partner, stuffs Dead body inside Suitcase - Chilling details!
Home > News Shots > India newsA 23-year-old woman’s dead body was found in a suitcase in her apartment on May 24, in Haridwar, Madhya Pradhesh. Police officials have revealed that she was murdered by her live-in partner, who seems to have fled the scene with the deceased’s friend.
The accused is a 26-year-old man from Bihar who has currently absconded the crime scene. The incident is said to have happened on Friday, however, the neighbours only began to complain about a foul smell on Sunday.
Kamlesh Upadhyay, SP of Haridwar said, “Both first used to work together in Gwalior where they developed a relationship and later shifted to Delhi last year where they joined the same e-commerce company. Later in December last year, both along with about 90 others from their company shifted to the industrial unit of State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited in Haridwar.”
“The accused started getting close with another woman in his building which increased problems between him and the deceased. On Friday, while the two were in their apartment, the accused strangled her to death. He then stuffed her body in a suitcase in an effort to hide it and fled after locking the apartment,” he added.
Since the other woman has been missing, the police suspect that the accused has run away with her. Another official added, “The neighbours had said that on Friday, the man had put loud music in his apartment so that the woman’s screams were not heard. He murdered that night.”
Upadhyay added that the whereabouts have been identified on Tuesday and that the police will soon nab both the prime suspects.
