According to reports, a huge amount of Rs 75,000 was withdrawn from the bank account of a 71-year-old Maharashtra man by unidentified people. They called the man said that a ‘verification code’ was sent to his number and asked him to reveal the number to connect his phone number with his Aadhaar. Kopri police have registered a case under the Information Technology Act.
