Heroic Act! Girl jumps onto molester’s bike, punches him

In a heroic act, a college student on a late Monday night refused to let her alleged molester escape so she jumped on his motorcycle. She refused to let go of him and continued to punch him while raising an alarm. The college student actually jumped on the rear seat of the motorcycle and covered the eyes of the accused.

Upon hearing her screams, locals rushed to the spot and caught the 28-year-old accused, Subodh Sharma, who is a repeat offender, and handed him over to cops.

According to The Times of India report, the incident took place at the Lake East area of Survey Park in East Kolkata around 10.45 pm, when the young woman was returning home from her tuition class. The woman is a third-year English Honours student.

On asking the police about the incident, an officer said, the accused came on a bike and made obscene gestures when he crossed the girl. Though she did not respond, the accused took a sudden U-turn, rode towards her and touched her inappropriately.

In fraction of minutes, the girl immediately grabbed the right hand of the accused and stepped on the bike. The victim took support of the helmet hanging from the rear side of the bike. The accused was shocked and took by surprise following which he slammed the brakes. As soon as he did that, the girl jumped onto the bike. Currently, police are questioning the accused.
