Headmistress slaps student for yawning in morning prayer

The headmistress of a private school in Maharashtra's Thane allegedly slapped an 11-year-old student as he yawned during the morning prayer. When the boy's father later went to her with the complaint, the headmistress is said to have told that students will be punished when they indulge in 'mischief'. Following the father's complaint, police registered offences against the principal.
