A 20-year-old woman approached Kerala police with a complaint that her marriage was stalled over a fake WhatsApp message propagated by one Shihab, who in an audio text, claimed that she was planning to elope with someone. Her fiance who came in possession of the audio clip, cancelled the wedding. Following an investigation, police arrested Shihab under relevant sections of the IT act, reports TheNewsMinute.
