A 20-year-old undergraduate student was stabbed to death following a clash over wall graffiti welcoming newcomers at Maharaja’s College in Kerala’s Ernakulam on Monday, said The Hindu. Abhimanyu, a second-year B.Sc student of Ernakulam's Maharaja college, was also a member of Students Federation of India (SFI)

He was stabbed after the clash between the members of SFI and Campus Front, which is a student wing of National Development Front. Abhimanyu, a resident of Vatavada in Idukki, was taken to the nearby Govt. General Hospital, Ernakulam, where he succumbed to injuries.

Another 19-year-old named Arjun, also an SFI member and student of Philosophy, suffered serious stab injuries and was critical at the Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital. Police have reportedly detained three persons, owing allegiance to Campus Front, and are looking for other suspects.
