Watch: Kerala Minister's 'Baahubali' Moment Caught On Camera

Unless you're living under the rock, you might be aware of how torrential rains lashed the state of Kerala, causing massive damage to human life and public property.

The damage was so vast that others states started sending help and relief material. As India continues to work towards rebuilding 'god's own country', social media seems to have found the real life 'Baahubali' in the state of Kerala.

In a video shared on Twitter by a prominent journalist, Kerala Education Minister C Raveendranath was seen carrying relief materials on his shoulder. The visuals from the flood relief camp reminded people of the moment when actor Prabhas carried the 'shiva lingam' in the first part of the movie.

Raveendranath was taken off from the responsibility of coordinating flood relief work in Ernakulam district, after he failed to reach in time because of floods. He was tasked with carrying out relief work in Thrissur.

The floods in Kerala has thrown normal life out of gear in the state. Close to 400 people have been killed and lakhs of people have been forced into temporary relief camps. The state has suffered damages amounting to approximately Rs. 21, 043 crore
