The story of a couple who had just married a day before ended in tragedy when Kevin, an electrician from Kerala was murdered by his wife Neetu's family, with whom he had a registered marriage.
Parental opposition over caste difference is rumoured to be the motive behind the killing.
Two people have been arrested so far while Kevin's body has been moved to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
