While Kerala is bracing itself to contain the deadly Nipah Virus that has so far claimed more than 15 lives, Rajeev Sadanandan, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Government of Kerala, was quoted by TNM as saying that the antibody to fight the Virus will reach India on Thursday night.
Sadanandan added that the package from the University of Queensland will first reach Delhi, from where it will be routed to Kerala. The antibody, which is not a vaccine is believed to neutralise the effects of the Nipah Virus.
