WATCH VIDEO: Group of Men Conduct Puja to End Feminism in India!
Home > News Shots > India newsA group of men in Karnataka hosted a "Pisachini Mukti Puja" to end Feminism in India.
A recent press release surfaced on Facebook states that the puja is the Karnataka chapter of "Save Indian Family" movement by over 40 NGOs who believe in promoting the cause of Family Harmony and Gender Equality.
It says feminism demands equality but actually seeks female dominance, entitlements and privileges without any responsibilities.
In the puja, pindam was offered to signify the death of #MeToo campaign. According to the release, #MeToo campaign has done more harm to the gender discourse in India, than good. Though the main puja was carried out in Karnataka, it was conducted simultaneously in 50 other locations.
That is not all, the press release even carried helpline number for men in stress.
Women on the Internet came up with some hilarious comments. "Ohh I've great powers, I feel so powerful now #FeminismPisachini," commented one Facebook user. "Reading the first line: wow this is good, gender equality and family harmony! Reading the rest: Equality has left the post. That escalated quickly," wrote another.
